The process to apply for this service can be done online through the MICM Virtual Window. You can also opt for in-person processing at the Customer Service Division in Santo Domingo.

Documents Needed to Apply for the Service

Request letter for inclusion of an additional unit at the MICM Fuel Directorate, specifying the following information: 1-Applicant status. 2-Quantity and type of units to include. 3-Motor vehicle property certificate number (registration). 4-License plate number. 5-Chassis number. 6-Brand, year, and color of the unit.
Certified copy of enabling ministerial resolution: Certified copy of the resolution granting the license.
Copy of identity and electoral certificate: If an individual, copy of identity and electoral certificate.
Copy of legal power of attorney: copy of legal power of attorney duly notarized and legalized before the Attorney General’s Office.
Current volumetric calibration certificate or hydrostatic test: issued by an authorized entity.
Copy of the vehicle registration: if financed or in transfer, include the notarized contract.
Updated insurance policies: both civil liability and vehicle insurance.
Motor vehicle insurance policies: where it is itemized and detailed.
Evidence, license plate, tax disc, magazine, and adhesive ministry stickers (sticker): include photograph.
Evidence of the year of manufacture of the tanks: if applicable.
Flow meter calibration certificate: for units that deliver fuel to homes.
