Request and Conducting Technical Evaluation of Land Functionality

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and SMEs (MICM) offers a service for requesting and conducting a technical evaluation of land functionality. You can access it both online, through the MICM Virtual Window, and in person, by submitting the complete file to the Customer Service Division of the MICM.

To request the technical evaluation, you must provide several documents, such as the property title certificate and certification from the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII).

This service is aimed at individuals interested in installing a dispensing station and consists of verifying if the land meets the functionality and distance characteristics established in current regulations.

Documents required to obtain the service

  • Property title certificate.
  • National ID card.
  • Financial statements.
  • Certification from the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII).
  • Power of attorney.
  • Copy of the commercial name registration certificate.
  • Copy of the commercial registry certificate.
  • Social statutes.
  • Minutes and list of the assembly.
  • Legal status certification of the property.
  • Copy of the registration act in the National Taxpayers Registry (RNC).
  • Valid certification from the Social Security Treasury.
  • Individual location plan georeferenced by GPS system.
  • These documents are essential to obtain the service of technical evaluation of land functionality and must be presented in their original version or legalized copy as appropriate.

Process of request and follow-up of the service

The request and follow-up of the service of technical evaluation of land functionality can be done online or in person:

Online procedure

  • Access the MICM Virtual Window.
  • Select the service of interest, enter data, and upload the required documentation.
  • Follow up on the request through the virtual window.

In-person procedure

  • Submit the complete file to the Customer Service Division of the MICM.
  • A customer service assistant will help you create your user on the virtual window online platform.
  • Follow up on the request through the virtual window.
