Requirements to establish a company from the United States in the Dominican Republic

  1. Application form for Commercial Registry.
  2. Corporate document authorizing operations in the Dominican Republic and establishing the company’s address in the country, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
  3. Power of attorney: If applicable, provide a notarized power of attorney granting legal representation authority.
  4. Photocopies of valid passports of the partners or shareholders, administrators, and legal representatives.
  5. Certified copies of all corporate incorporation documents, in accordance with the legislation of origin, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
  6. In the case of foreign companies that are part of the foreign entity to be established, a copy of the Certificate of Good Standing and/or Incorporation and/or Incumbency Certificate or the equivalent of the Commercial Registry Certificate according to the country of origin must be attached, as well as the corporate document that evidences the natural person representing the foreign company, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
