Requirements to establish a Puerto Rican company in the Dominican Republic

  1. Registration application form for the Mercantile Registry.
  2. Corporate document authorizing operations in the Dominican Republic, establishing the company’s domicile in the country, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
  3. Power of attorney: If applicable, provide a notarized power of attorney accrediting the legal representative’s authority.
  4. Photocopies of valid passports of shareholders, directors, and representatives.
  5. Certified copies of all corporate incorporation documents, according to the legislation of origin, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
  6. For foreign companies that are part of the foreign entity to be incorporated, a copy of the Certificate of Good Standing and/or Incorporation and/or Certificate of Incumbency or equivalent Mercantile Registry Certificate according to the country of origin must be attached, as well as the corporate document that identifies the individual representing the foreign entity, duly apostilled and translated if not originally in Spanish.
